Mrs. Stacey Gafner - School Counselor

Stacey Gafner is the school counselor at Oconee County Primary School.

Mrs. Gafner's educational background includes a B.S. in Psychology and Masters of School Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.  Mrs. Gafner is passionate about building strong relationships among students, parents, staff, and the community.  She believes that all students should be respected, celebrated, and valued for their individual differences.  She desires to help all students reach their full potential by fostering growth in the areas of academic, social-emotional, and career readiness skills.  She resides in Monroe with her husband, Cameron and their four children. 

The OCPS School Counseling Program includes K-2 classroom lessons, small counseling groups and individual counseling as needed. Mrs. Gafner also coordinates our Food for Kids Program, Mentoring Program, Secret Santa and connects families to other community resources.
