PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. It is an approach used by schools to encourage appropriate student behavior and promote safety throughout the school building. Students are explicitly taught behavior expectations for each of our various school settings including the classrooms, cafeteria, restrooms, playground, and hallways. These expectations are taught at the start oÿ the year and
reviewed throughout, so all students understand procedures for the various areas of our school building.
